DID YOU KNOW THAT... Kito and Kubango are cheetah twins? I can't truly say, which one is Kito and which one is Kubango. Both came to Prague from Nürnberg, Germany. :nod:

I love the expression on the cheetah's face. You can tell what (he/she) is feeling as you stated shy. I also like how the background is out of focus. It makes the cheetah stand out even more then he/she already does. This photograph is also unique in the sense that it is winter in the background. I've never seen a cheetah in the snow. I also like how close up this is. Were you really close or did you just have a great zoom in a camera? This is an all around awesome photo. Great work! I really enjoyed your photo.

Does the zoo staff have to take any special measure in the winter to adapt the cats to the cold?

Not sure, but I read somewhere that animals from Africa are usually okay with cold, it's worse with animals from cold environment, hot weather is not good for them. I also noticed these cheetahs had longer fur than normally... :D
