Great capture. Cheetahs somehow don't belong in snow but they somehow look pretty nice surrounded by the white.

Btw there is one cheetah at my local zoo that actually likes to climb trees. The others don't even try to climb xD

Well... they can climb trees if they're in danger, and some cheetahs look that they even enjoy it, but they're not resting there or so :D thank you :D

He looks so unhappy because of this snow. Just like "I know, it's snow and it's everywhere!"

Oh, he wasn't, a minutes before he was happily running around with his brother :D but I took this photo, when some animal closeby did some strange sounds - this cheetah sat down and listened to it with poker face :D :D

Did you know that part of the reason for a cheetah's speed is it's near 7 meter stride while sprinting?
Part of how it does this is having its shoulders and hips in sockets that are different from all other cat species. It's still a ball and socket joint, but it's a lot more open than that of most cats.

Fabulous picture, by the way. I wonder if his toes get cold.

haha he looks stiff with cold! And cheetahs can climb trees, in a multitude of documentaries there is a cheetah climbing a twenty foot or higher acacia.

I've seen that too - but it were trees even I can climb :D he can't climb such trees like f.e. leopards do :)

yeah thats true, but i guess the important thing is they can climb acacias tall enough to save them from danger since lions nor hyenas have as big a stride as cheetahs and cant traverse the skinnier trees. Like a cheetah can reach the top of an acacia in like, one leap and a half! they can still climb better than a lot of big predators in africa

This is one of the strangest yet beautiful pictures I have ever seen. (Was that proper grammar? Sounds kind of odd. XD) a cheetah in the snow looks so out of place but it adds such a wonderful contrast... I like it! C:
